Sunday , 15th of January. My second band officially started in my drawing room.5 people , all claiming to be musicians gathered and clicked.

The name was decided some days later by the oh so talented Mr Vyas. He thinks that the name is a holistic tribute to the place where we first jammed great songs like Wasting love , Fade to Black et al.

Someday soon we will start proper jamming and in not so distant future we will put up a show in Wipro.Thats our greatest goal for the time being. Perform a realy good set in Wipro because , as all bands say , there is NOT much talent around except us!

I went I saw & I jammed.

One of the best weekends I've ever had. I finally met this guy from SAP named Ashwini. He has been playing the guitar for 4 years now. Got amazing equipment as well.. a yamaha..a marshall and a zoom 505. I guess this is one of the benfits of being in the Industry for more than half a decade!!

The first thing that cathces your eye about this guy is his head.He looks like one of those nerdy middle aged guys with thick specs. Looks can be deceptive. This guy is a teeming genius. Although , he's technically not that well off but his ideas were .. revolutionary .. for me. Although , genius is simply sometimes the prevelence of common sense.

He said , " Play slowly. Give small breaks .. play just a couple of notes but play them well. Give some importance to the rhythm guitarist as well.Let ppl hear him also."

This is genius. A simple trick that applies in general life as well. Slow down.Look around and then do something based on that. Speed is not necessarily "the" thing.

One more good friend to look forward meeting to.

5th October Blues

I dont know where to start. (Its such a cliched starting! ) My college days have long been over and here I am sitting in a discussion room shared by 3 others at the (oh so great) Wipro Technologies Bangalore. Its 6 pm and my Project Manager just came looking for me when i was out on a (official) date with Tulika.Apparently he found out that I was doing nothing and just wanted to let me know that he knows that I am doing nothing. hehe..

I think i handled it pretty well.I became a bit defensive initially but eventually sat there calmly listening to the great man's worldly advice.

My project mates can go and s*** c*** :)

Anyway,not much has changed till now.In my last days of college , Firecurl used to pay me for doing random pleasurable activities and now W i p r 0 does the same again...though..i must admit .. the pay and the facilities are wayyyy better :D

So i thought my life would be like this..until i started reading "rich dad poor dad" and my pm gave the gyan (knowledge)

From tomorrow i must actively "hunt" for work.I have to be "proactive" and "agressive" ..maybe even carry a whipleash and hit my projetc mates when they refuse to mate me...i mean..refuse to give me work.This is it.Tomorrow...i will be .. whatever..

Its 6 oclock and the periphonics team has booked the room i am sitting in...which effectively means i have to leave this place for them to conduct some important meeting (sic) ..as if i am sitting here and doing nothing ;)'
